Around USD 21,000, 4,000 Euros and 20,000 Nakfa extended honoring the trust of martyrs

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare indicated that around USD 21,000, 4,000 Euros and 20,000 Nakfa has been extended by a number of nationals honoring the trust of martyrs.

Asmara, 30 May 2013 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare indicated that around USD 21,000, 4,000 Euros and 20,000 Nakfa has been extended by a number of nationals honoring the trust of martyrs.

Accordingly, fundraising groups of nationals and individuals in Sweden offered USD 20,666, while the family of Mr. Eyob Araia from Mendefera city extended 20,000 Nakfa. Moreover, Eritrean community members in the German city of Tubingen and its environs contributed a total of 2,400 Euros for families of martyrs, and Ms. Meaza Negash from the Netherlands offered 1,500 Euros.

The community members and individuals expressed satisfaction with the initiative they took, and called on fellow nationals to emulate it.
