ENWVA assesses micro-credit and saving scheme

The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) assessed its micro-credit and savings scheme at a conference which was conducted in Asmara this week.

Asmara, 1 June 2013 – The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) assessed its micro-credit and savings scheme at a conference which was conducted in Asmara this week.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Gebrebirhan Eyasu, Chairman of the Association, outlined the objectives of the scheme aimed at raising the financial capability of members, and called on Association members living in rural areas to effectively utilize the scheme which is related to agricultural practice.

Ms. Tirhas Tsegai, head of the scheme, and Mr. Tsige Tewolde, coordinator of the Association’s projects, equally called on the Association members to practice judicious utilization of such opportunities and consult the Office in this regard.

The participants of the conference exchanged experience and put forth views pertaining to several issues.
