NICE conducts 9th annual meeting of shareholders

The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea (NICE) today conducted the 9th annual meeting of shareholders at Asmara Palace Hotel under the theme “Smart Investment for a Bright Future.”

Asmara, 1 June 2013 – The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea (NICE) today conducted the 9th annual meeting of shareholders at Asmara Palace Hotel under the theme “Smart Investment for a Bright Future.”

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Zeru Woldemichael, General Manager, of the corporation, presented a report regarding the overall activities of the corporation, and gave briefings pertaining to the necessary improvements and adjustments to this end. He further indicated that the company could lay groundwork for expanding capital on the basis of making available shares for sale vis-à-vis the Government’s ongoing endeavors towards promoting the investment potential of nationals.

Moreover, Mr. Zeru disclosed that the Corporation’s revenue is growing, thus giving rise to that of the shareholders and fostering the credibility of the members of the Board of Directors.
Accordingly, NICE will start paying dividends on June 3.
