The Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Eritrean Embassy to Japan, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as 18 national private companies took part in Africa Fair 2013 that was staged in the Japanese city of Yokohama depicting national resources, cultures and business.
Asmara, 3 June 2013 – The Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Eritrean Embassy to Japan, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as 18 national private companies took part in Africa Fair 2013 that was staged in the Japanese city of Yokohama depicting national resources, cultures and business.
The event featured from May 30 to June 2 provided groundwork for Eritrean institutions and businesses to exchange ideas and explore opportunities pertaining to the establishment of relations with counter-parts in Japan and various African countries in the domains of investment, trade and tourism, among others.
Meanwhile, Ms. Mio Yamazaki, Goodwill Ambassador of Eritrea on tourism and founder of the Eritrean-Japanese Cycling Friendship League, showcased items depicting Eritrean culture and cycling account. Moreover, the Minister of National Development and Cooperation, Dr. Giorgis Teclemichael, made remarks during the event
