The residents of Gahtelai semi-urban center, Ginda sub-zone, said that they are engaged in community venture with a view to renovating water pipelines and promoting environmental wellbeing on the basis of mobilizing their financial and labor resources.

Ginda, 3 June 2013 – The residents of Gahtelai semi-urban center, Ginda sub-zone, said that they are engaged in community venture with a view to renovating water pipelines and promoting environmental wellbeing on the basis of mobilizing their financial and labor resources.

Among the residents, Ms. Fatina Ahmed, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, Ms. Fatina Mohammed and Mr. Dirar Haji Idris expressed satisfaction with taking part in the community-based undertaking, and asserted readiness to sustain participation to this end.

Likewise, Mr. Tewolde Zemui, head of water development in the semi-urban center, and Mr. Mohammed Seid Anfiera, community elder, disclosed that more than 1.5 km-long pipe line is expected to be fully replaced by a new one through the venture.
