An art exhibition depicting national cultures was inaugurated yesterday in Asmara by the Administrator of the Central region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet.
Asmara, 6 June 2013 – An art exhibition depicting national cultures was inaugurated yesterday in Asmara by the Administrator of the Central region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet.
The exhibition staged at the City Hall portraying the armed struggle for independence and Eritrean lifestyle has so far drawn appreciation from various visitors who lauded the artist’s corner pertaining to women’s role with emphasis.
Mr. Tesfai Gebremichael, the artist, said that the displayed pieces can represent only a fraction of the nationals’ spirit of steadfastness and societal splendor. Pointing out that he spent around 2 years in preparation for the staging of the exhibition, Mr. Tesfai further indicated that his enthusiasm as an artist focuses on popularizing Eritrean cultures.
The exhibition would remain open until the 15th of this month.
