Social service institutions in Jimiel Administrative area making commendable impact in promoting community living style
The Administration of Jimiel Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, said that social service institutions there are making commendable impact as regards promoting community-based style of living.
Dige, 11 June 2013 – The Administration of Jimiel Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, said that social service institutions there are making commendable impact as regards promoting community-based style of living.
Mr. Hintsa’ab Woldu, head of economic development in the sub-zone, indicated that educational and potable water supply facilities have been put in place in Jimiel area vis-à-vis preparation of master plan and distribution of land plots. He further lauded the active participation of EDF members and civil servants in the process of furthering such mode of living.
Mr. Hamd Abubeker, Administrator of Jimiel area, and Mr. Abdelkadir Ahmed pointed out that more permanent settlement was witnessed in the locality following the putting in place of the social service facilities.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Hamd Mohammed and Mr. Sidel Mohammed explained that the community’s livelihood was by and large improved after the inhabitants resorted to leading a settled pattern of living, and that they are encouraging fellow inhabitants to take similar initiative.
