The inhabitants of pertinent areas said that they anticipate increased development momentum in line with the construction of Amalayit-Hirum-Zara route that has already the final implementation stage.

Keren, 12 June 2013 – The inhabitants of pertinent areas said that they anticipate increased development momentum in line with the construction of Amalayit-Hirum-Zara route that has already the final implementation stage.

Accordingly, the 80 Km-long strategic road would replace the current one of 120 Km, which is longer and narrow.

One of the inhabitants, Mr. Osman Idris, and Mr. Mohammed Abubeker, Administrator of Hirum area, expressed conviction that the construction of the road would have remarkable impact in fostering socio-economic activities in the area, and expressed appreciation for the process of its implementation by Segen Construction Company.

Reports indicate that Amalayit-Hirum-Zara route holds equally strategic significance in the rural development process.
