Afabet residents called upon to enhance collaboration with Police

The office of Police Force in Afabet semi-urban center has called on the residents to enhance collaboration with it. It made the call at a meeting during which it was stated that sustained promotional activities have been conducted focusing on raising community awareness regarding law and crime prevention.

Afabet, 13 June 2013 – The office of Police Force in Afabet semi-urban center has called on the residents to enhance collaboration with it. It made the call at a meeting during which it was stated that sustained promotional activities have been conducted focusing on raising community awareness regarding law and crime prevention.

Heading the meeting, Lt. Amenai Zemede, Commander of the police force in the locality, said that further popular participation is necessary as regards ensuring low instances of crime, and called on parents to play due role in nurturing cultural values among the young generation.

Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abdu Mohammed Telke, Administrator of Afabet sub-zone, equally called on parents and teachers to extend a helping hand towards popularizing societal values.
