Keren, 14 June 2013 – Reports indicated that standardization of automobiles was described vital as regards fostering traffic safety in Anseba region during the staging of a Week conducted to this end in Keren city.
The event that witnessed the presence of residents, students, different professionals and representatives of various government bodies, drivers in general and those engaged in public transport were called upon to focus more on safety, and thus satisfy the need for serious attention in preventive maintenance. Moreover, the conducting of further promotional campaigns was pronounced vital as regards raising popular awareness regarding law.
In the same vein, Dr. Kesetebirhan Solomon, head of the Health Ministry’s branch in the region, called on drivers to extend a helping hand in endeavors to promote safe driving.
