Asmara, 19 June 2013 – Eritrean community members in the US city of Charlotte, North Carolina, commemorated Martyrs Day with patriotic zeal and reiterated readiness to honor the trust of fallen heroes.
During the event witnessing major participation of children and youths, the community members expressed readiness to step up efforts towards bequeathing the national values to this end to the young generation, while encouraging them to support families of fallen heroes.
Different artistic performances highlighting the Eritrean people’s heroic feats were staged during the event that was conducted on the 16th of this month, in addition to candle light parade.
