Eritrean community members in Lausanne city buy shares in the Homeland with a view to backing exemplary children of martyrs
Reports indicated that Eritrean community members in the Swiss city of Lausanne have bought shares in the Homeland with a view to backing 14 students constituting exemplary children of martyrs.
Asmara, 24 June 2013 – Reports indicated that Eritrean community members in the Swiss city of Lausanne have bought shares in the Homeland with a view to backing 14 students constituting exemplary children of martyrs. They took the initiative in connection with the event the community staged to mark Martyrs Day through different activities.
The nationals pointed out that they have been extending consistent financial support to 45 families of fallen heroes, and that they would continue to extend such assistance.
Mr. Shileshi Idris, head of the PFDJ branch in Switzerland, said that the Day is an occasion when nationals should voice national pride and mount readiness to enhance participation in State affairs.
Meanwhile, Eritrean community members in various other Swiss cities raised funds honoring the trust of martyrs.
