The Education Ministry’s branch in Haikota sub-zone called on parents, students and school administrations to exert further integrated efforts as regards promoting student competence.

Haikota, 24 June 2013 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Haikota sub-zone called on parents, students and school administrations to exert further integrated efforts as regards promoting student competence. It made the call at a meeting in which Area administrators and members of school parents committee were present.

The reports by school directors indicate that a noteworthy accomplishment has been registered regarding adult education and raising female participation in education. Accordingly, further joint endeavor are necessary for still more gratifying achievement, namely focusing on reinforcement of boarding schools, promoting community-based living style and doing away with childhood marriage.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Abdalla Mahmoud, head of the branch office, expressed appreciation to the inhabitants for the moral and material support they have been extending to teachers, and called on stakeholders to strive for the realization of the cherished goal.
