Hagaz School of Agricultural Technique and Don Bosco Technical School graduate a total of 315 students with certificate
A total of 128 students who have been attending 2-year courses in Agro-Mechanics, Animal Science, Plant Science, Soil and Water Conservation, as well as Irrigation in Hagaz School of Agricultural Technique have graduated with certificate.
Asmara, 27 June 2013 – A total of 128 students who have been attending 2-year courses in Agro-Mechanics, Animal Science, Plant Science, Soil and Water Conservation, as well as Irrigation in Hagaz School of Agricultural Technique have graduated with certificate.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony in which the Administration of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai, and the Chairman of the of the regional Assembly, Ms. Asha Mahmoud, took part, Brother Aron Eyob, Director of the school, lauded the graduates’ hard work, and called on them to further strive in career development.
Mr. Girmai Estifanos, head of curriculum development in the Ministry of Education, equally urged the members of the graduating batch to supplement the knowledge they have acquired through work exposure for better professional competence.
A representative of the graduates commended the school staff for investing on them heavily, and expressed his colleagues’ readiness to back up national development endeavors.
Meanwhile, 187 students, 91 of whom comprise females, graduated with certificate from Don Bosco Technical School in Dekemhare pursuing the streams of Auto Mechanics, Construction, Woodwork, Electricity, Electronics, Metalwork and Surveying.
Speaking on the occasion, Father Kidane Semere, School director, pointed out that the graduates could be beneficiaries of such training in line with the government’s commitment towards raising the production capacity of nationals. He went on to explain that the number of youth beneficiaries of such opportunity has shown visible growth.
A representative of the graduates asserted that they would serve the people with dedication.
