Inhabitants of Aklalat Administrative area engage in soil and water conservation undertaking

The inhabitants of Aklalat Administrative area, Goluj sub-zone, are engaged in soil and water conservation undertaking with a view to raising agricultural output.

Goluj, 28 June 2013 – The inhabitants of Aklalat Administrative area, Goluj sub-zone, are engaged in soil and water conservation undertaking with a view to raising agricultural output.

Mr. Idris Mohammed-Ali, Administrator of the area, pointed out that the community venture is being conducted three times a week so as to finalize it before the onset of the main rainy season.

Among the participants, Ms. Fatina Osman and Mr. Ali Abubeker disclosed that active participation is being demonstrated in the campaign which also has remarkable impact in raising community awareness to this end. They further expressed readiness to strive for the realization of the cherished goal.

Aklalat village is located some 10 Km. north of Goluj semi-urban center.
