More than 5,000 USD extended in honor of the trust of martyrs

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare indicated that Eritrean community members residing in Cincinnati, US, and nationals in the Saudi cities of Riyadh and Dammam have extended a total of 5,000 USD and 30,000 Nakfa.

Asmara, 29 June 2013 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare indicated that Eritrean community members residing in Cincinnati, US, and nationals in the Saudi cities of Riyadh and Dammam have extended a total of 5,000 USD and 30,000 Nakfa.

Accordingly, Mr. Fitsum Tewoldemedhin’s family in Riyadh and Ms. Fireweini Hagos, resident of Dammam, donated 20,000 Nakfa and 10,000 Nakfa respectively.

The nationals expressed moral satisfaction with the gesture, and said that such initiative on the part of the citizenry is vital in patronizing families of fallen heroes.
