Administration of Central region organizes training for 800 staff members

The Administration of Central region has organized training for a total of 800 recent staff members in Accounting and Material Management, Purchasing, Library Science, Computer basics and Archiving, Tourism and Hotel Management, Driving, Plumbing, Wood and Metal Work, Labor and Social Welfare management, as well as Firefighting.

Asmara, 1 July 2013 – The Administration of Central region has organized training for a total of 800 recent staff members in Accounting and Material Management, Purchasing, Library Science, Computer basics and Archiving, Tourism and Hotel Management, Driving, Plumbing, Wood and Metal Work, Labor and Social Welfare management, as well as Firefighting.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Zerizgi Dawit pointed out that the major resource of the nation comprises human capital, and that the Government has been investing to this end substantially. He further called on the beneficiaries of the training to translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice and concentrate on career development.

Mustafa Abdu, representative of the trainees, expressed his colleagues’ readiness to serve the people with dedication. Among the trainees, Henok Mansour and Hanan Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the training opportunity accorded them at government expenditure.

Also speaking on the occasion, the Administrator of the Central region, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet, indicated that the trainees are expected to play due role in their respective posts.
