Asmara, 6 July 2013 – Eritrean community members in Cincinnati city, US, said that they would enhance efforts in backing families of martyrs as part of the community’s all-round endeavors as regards raising participation in the national development drive and voicing staunch resistance against external conspiracies.
They made the pledge in connection with a fundraising event they organized on the 4th of this month with a view to extending support to families of martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abraham Teame, among the community leaders, gave briefings focusing on the accomplishments registered by the community to this end.
The participants indicated that they would continue engaging in extending such support in honor of the trust of martyrs. They further disclosed that they have been carrying out fundraising activities in this regard on the basis of Association since the year 2008.
