175 youths in Mendefera graduate with different disciplines

175 youths in Mendefera and its environs graduated with Information Technology, Painting, Still and Video Camera shooting, Hair Dressing as well in other disciplines.

Mendefera, 07 July 2013- 175 youths in Mendefera and its environs graduated with Information Technology, Painting, Still and Video Camera shooting, Hair Dressing as well in other disciplines.

During the graduation ceremony held on 4 July, Mr. Tekeste Mekonen, head of NUEYS in the region, explained that the training was aimed at assisting the youths improve their livelihood and contribute their share in the national development programs and called for strengthening the training center.

Likewise, Mr. Efrem Gebrekrstos, Administrator of the region, pointed out that the effectiveness of training is measured by the practical performance of trainees, and called on trainees to develop their skills and reinforce their contribution.

The representative of the trainees on her part commended for the opportunity they were provided and expressed her confidence that similar opportunity would be opened for other youths in the region.

Reports indicated that last year training was provided for 200 youths in IT, Arabic language, Electricity Maintenance, Painting, Editing, and Still and Video Camera shooting.
