The Education Ministry’s branch in Debarwa sub-zone has called on communities, government institutions and national Associations to enhance role in nurturing dynamic students.

Debarwa, 10 July 2013 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Debarwa sub-zone has called on communities, government institutions and national Associations to enhance role in nurturing dynamic students. It made the call at a meeting conducted on the 5th and 6th of this month in which school directors, Area administrators, supervisors and others took part.

The meeting assessed the weak and strong sides of each school’s activities during the current academic year, and shared views focusing on ways and means of addressing current challenges.

Mr. Merih Kiros, head of the branch office, disclosed that 85% of students in the region numbering more than 23,000 have obtained passing marks, and called on parents to enhance role in the academic pursuit of students.
