Asmara, 10 July 2013 – Eritrean community members in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties in California, US, have expressed readiness to back up national development endeavors. They made the pledge at a seminar they conducted this week, during which it was stated that the Eritrean people and their leadership are in a position to register remarkable development accomplishments despite enemy conspiracies.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwet, Executive of Embassy Affairs in the US, pointed out that such achievement on the part of the nation constitutes a springboard to further developmental triumph, and called on the community members to enhance participation to this end. He further urged them to step up efforts in nurturing cultural and national values among the young generation.

Mr. Dawit Haile, head of public affairs at the Embassy, on his part gave briefings regarding the YPFDJ meeting due to be conducted in August in North California, and said that the community members should extend a helping hand for the success of the meeting.

The community members stated that the prevailing popular staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas attests to the manner the people cherish national dignity.
