Community representatives in Northern Red Sea region express readiness to back up national development endeavors
Community representatives in Gelalo, Foro, She’ib and Ginda sub-zones, Northern Red Sea region, have expressed readiness to back up national development endeavors. They made the pledge in the respective meetings they held recently, during which they pointed out that social service facilities in the localities have made remarkable impact as regards improving the livelihood of communities.
Massawa, 12 July 2013 – Community representatives in Gelalo, Foro, She’ib and Ginda sub-zones, Northern Red Sea region, have expressed readiness to back up national development endeavors. They made the pledge in the respective meetings they held recently, during which they pointed out that social service facilities in the localities have made remarkable impact as regards improving the livelihood of communities.
The community representatives further lauded the government’s commitment towards ensuring social justice, and said that the role of EDF has been vital in the implementation of development programs. They also voiced staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.
Speaking at the meetings, Mr. Amr Hamd from the PFDJ branch in the region stated that the Eritrean people and their leadership are exerting stepped-up endeavors with a view to raising agricultural output and promoting societal wellbeing.Hence, groundwork for further development accomplishment could be laid, and the citizenry is expected to sustain participation for the realization of the cherished goals, he added.
Moreover, the participants of the meetings expressed appreciation for the development accomplishments being registered in the country, and asserted that they would utilize the social service facilities judiciously.
