Eritrean community members in Port Sudan to enhance efforts as regards backing families of martyrs

Eritrean community members in Port Sudan city, Republic of Sudan, said that they would enhance efforts as regards backing families of martyrs.

Asmara, 12 July 2013 – Eritrean community members in Port Sudan city, Republic of Sudan, said that they would enhance efforts as regards backing families of martyrs.

They made the pledge at a meeting they conducted in this connection, during which they lauded the role of nationals residing abroad to this end. Moreover, the community members extended a total of 35,000 Jinee honoring the trust of fallen heroes.

Reports indicate that Eritrean nationals in Khartoum, Kassala and Gedaref cities have taken the initiative of patronizing a total of 64 families of martyrs.

Meanwhile, a number of youths in the Homeland have extended financial support to families of fallen heroes. Accordingly, Mr. Futsum Tewoldemedhin and Sara haile donated 20,000 Nakfa and 5,000 Nakfa respectively, besides children in Algen Camp, Asmara, and Rozina Estifanos who extended 2,000 Nakfa.
