It made the remark at a meeting in which school directors, supervisors, parents committees and Area administrators took part.
Hamelmalo, 12 July 2013 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Hamelmalo sub-zone indicated that the role of teachers, parents and stakeholders is a remarkable prerequisite in promoting the teaching-learning process. It made the remark at a meeting in which school directors, supervisors, parents committees and Area administrators took part.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mohammed-Jimi’e Ahmed, Head of the branch office, indicated that it looks forward to further accomplishments in this regard on the basis of preserving the prevailing virtues and encouraging integrated work. He further disclosed that noteworthy achievement has been made as regards educational outreach in connection with beginners from families who lead nomadic style of living.
According to reports presented at the meeting, a total of 29 Adult Education stations have been opened this year in the locality.
The participants of the meeting put forth views pertaining to several issues.
In closing remarks, Mr. Hagos Adhana, Head of basic education in Anseba region, pointed out that education is a basic human right, and called for active societal participation in national endeavors of ensuring equitability of educational services.
