Inhabitants of Gogne sub-zone witnessing improvement of livelihood on the basis of credit opportunities

The inhabitants of Gogne sub-zone said that they are in a position to witness improvement of livelihood on the basis of credit opportunities from Micro-credit and Savings Program.

Gogne, 15 July 2013 – The inhabitants of Gogne sub-zone said that they are in a position to witness improvement of livelihood on the basis of credit opportunities from Micro-credit and Savings Program.

They further indicated that they could make such a difference through engaging in small-scale business and agricultural ventures, and expressed satisfaction with the services being rendered by the program.

Ms. Kedija Omar and Mr. Saleh Agina Kewaja stated that they managed to fully reimburse their debts, and pointed out that an opportunity of this type is a remarkable opportunity for nationals who seek improvement of livelihood through versatile and hard work.

Mr. Ambarosh Angelo from the Program’s branch in the sub-zone disclosed that the number of creditors is on the rise in line with the growing scope of service. Accordingly, a number of inhabitants have credited a total of 9 million Nakfa, while the branch office has allotted additional 10 million Nakfa for similar purpose.
