Trees of temperate fruits planted in Adi-Tekelzan sub-zone flourish well

The Administration of Adi-Tekelzan sub-zone indicated that trees of temperate fruits such as apple and peach as well as olive that were planted in the locality have flourish well.

Adi-Tekelezan, 18 July 2013 – The Administration of Adi-Tekelzan sub-zone indicated that trees of temperate fruits such as apple and peach as well as olive that were planted in the locality have flourish well.

Mr. Ande Adhanom, Administrator of the sub-zone, disclosed that the tree seedlings numbering more than 10,000 were planted in 5 Administrative areas in farms, schools, households, churches and mosques, as well as other areas. He further called on the inhabitants and the Ministry of Agriculture’s branch to extend a helping hand as regards follow-up of the trees.

Among the inhabitants, Mizan Haile and Mr. Girmai Gide pointed out that they have been watering the seedlings from water resources in outlying areas, and expressed satisfaction with being familiarized with such trees and the community venture thereof, which lasted for about 5 months.
