Adi-Quala sub-zone: Remarkable accomplishments being registered in SWP

The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Adi-Quala sub-zone said that remarkable accomplishments are being registered in Summer Work Program (SWP) on the basis of 10 work stations.

Adi-Quala, 25 July 2013 – The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Adi-Quala sub-zone said that remarkable accomplishments are being registered in Summer Work Program (SWP) on the basis of 10 work stations.

Mr. Teklemariam Haile, forestry and wildlife expert in the locality, disclosed that the ongoing ventures pertain to soil and water conservation, and that various terraces and water catchment walls have subsequently been  constructed, besides the digging of a number of holes for plantation for tree seedlings.

Among the participants of the undertaking, Kesete Tsegai and Muna Mensour pointed out that the Program has significant impact in the nation’s development endeavors in general and prevention of soil erosion in particular. They further expressed satisfaction with the working atmosphere and the spirit of teamwork being demonstrated in the process.

Mr. Habtesialsie Isaac, coordinator of the undertaking, indicated that such exposure involves a remarkable groundwork for nurturing the norm of work among the young generation, and called on the inhabitants to extend a helping hand as regards ensuring sustainability of the accomplishments registered.
