The inhabitants of 21 Administrative areas of Adi-Quala sub-zone have tilled farmlands of families of fallen heroes measuring more than 900 hectares on the basis of popular campaign, and expressed moral satisfaction with extending such labor support.
Adi-Quala, 26 July 2013 – The inhabitants of 21 Administrative areas of Adi-Quala sub-zone have tilled farmlands of families of fallen heroes measuring more than 900 hectares on the basis of popular campaign, and expressed moral satisfaction with extending such labor support.
Mr. Daniel Desta, head of the PFDJ branch in the sub-zone, disclosed that a total of 1,279 families have become beneficiaries of the community venture involving around 3,000 pairs of oxen, and that such a gesture attests to the prevalence of the norm of support within the citizenry.
The beneficiaries lauded the support being extended to them by fellow nationals and the government.
One of the participants, Mr. Asmerom Ogbamichael said that backing families of martyrs entails community responsibility according to the Eritrean culture, and called on nationals to step up participation to this end.
