Eritrean athlete Azaria Teklai ranks first in uphill competition in Slovenia

Eritrean athlete Azaria Teklai yesterday ranked first in the 15th uphill competition in Slovenia that witnessed the participation of more than 250 racers from all over the world.

Asmara, 29 July 2013 – Eritrean athlete Azaria Teklai yesterday ranked first in the 15th uphill competition in Slovenia that witnessed the participation of more than 250 racers from all over the world.

Azaria concluded the challenging 9.6 Km-long tournament which covered a rocky mountain elevating up to 2,000 meters above sea-level in 1 hour 17 minutes and 27 seconds.

Meanwhile, Eritrean Kidane Abraham yesterday in a similar competition in Italy seized the first rank and held new record.
