Eritrean cyclist Merhawi Kudus registers remarkable excellence in a tournament in Spain

Eritrean cyclist Merhawi Kudus has registered a remarkable excellence in a 4-stage tournament in Spain entitled “Voelta Lean,” winning the designation for the best young competitor and second fastest cyclist in the game.

Asmara, 05 August 2013 – Eritrean cyclist Merhawi Kudus has registered a remarkable excellence in a 4-stage tournament in Spain entitled “Voelta Lean,” winning the designation for the best young competitor and second fastest cyclist in the game.

Merhawi ranked 3rd and 26th in the first two competitions of the tournament, while he stood 6th and 11th in the two games that followed.

It is to be recalled that the young cyclist demonstrated outstanding feat during a recent up-hill competition in Tour Cot Di Or in France.

Over the past 13 years in Voelta Lean, Merhawi is the 5th non-Spanish competitor who ranked 2nd.
