The inhabitants of Geza-Kelati Administrative area, Molqi sub-zone, are constructing a pond with a view to meeting potable water supply throughout the year.

Molqi, 10 August 2013 – The inhabitants of Geza-Kelati Administrative area, Molqi sub-zone, are constructing a pond with a view to meeting potable water supply throughout the year. They further indicated that the construction of the pond would make significant impact in enriching water resources in the area, the capacity of which has been witnessing a decline.

Ms. Elsa Woldu, Administrator of Geza-Kelati village, and Ms. Mihret Kahsai, head of the NUEW branch in the area, disclosed that the popular undertaking is being conducted through integrating financial and labor resources.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Tekie Gebremeskel and Mr. Gebru Meresie asserted that they would work hard for the realization of the cherished goal.

Moreover, Mr. Kiros Semere, Administrator of the area, pointed out that the venture has been underway over the past 4 months.
