A number of High School directors from various corners of the country who are attending a training course as regards leadership and management by a national residing in the US indicated that the sharing of knowledge and experience is a noble responsibility.

Asmara, 10 August 2013 – A number of High School directors from various corners of the country who are attending a training course as regards leadership and management by a national residing in the US indicated that the sharing of knowledge and experience is a noble responsibility. They further indicated that such initiative has a remarkable input in the nation-building process, and called on other nationals to emulate it.

Among the trainees, Mr. Kesete Misgina, Mr. Michael Teame and Mr. Hurui Gebrebirhan noted the vitality of sound management in ensuring effective school administration and promoting student competence, and expressed readiness to translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice.

Dr. Haile Niguse, the resource person, said that education is the key prerequisite for all-round societal development, and that leadership plays important role as regards nurturing hardworking students. He also voiced satisfaction with volunteering to this end, the initiative of which is expected to be pursued by a group of nationals titled “Summer Institutions.”

Dr. Haile gave special training for around 140 teachers last summer, while the current number of trainees stands at 50, according to reports.
