Asheda, 11 August 2013- The Agricultural activities through Asheda water diversion scheme in good progress, indicated beneficiary farmers.

They pointed out that because the water diversion scheme has been maintained on time it has been able to collect enough water, and they are being able to conduct their agricultural activities.

Mr. Kifle Tesfamariam and Mr. Hamid Idris said that they are working to put every water drop to their advantage and commended the Government for providing tractors on time.

Mr. Nahom Tsehaie, agricultural expert in the sub-zone, indicated that the farmers are working hard to implement the 7 thousand hectares of land planned for cultivation this year.
