Endeavors to finalize construction of community hospital in Geleb gain momentum

Reports indicated that endeavors being exerted to finalize the construction of community hospital in Geleb, Anseba region, have gained momentum.

Keren, 12 August 2013 – Reports indicated that endeavors being exerted to finalize the construction of community hospital in Geleb, Anseba region, have gained momentum.

Mr. Hadish Yilma, in charge of the project, disclosed that the hospital’s accommodation comprising 40 rooms is being built on a total area of 4,000 square meters, and that 30% of the process has been completed in collaboration with the inhabitants.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Idris-Nor Idris Ishaq and Mr. Mohammed-Nor Omar Mesmer expressed conviction that the putting in place of such facility would make remarkable impact in promoting community wellbeing. They further called on Horn Construction Company to keep the pace of the project’s implementation.

Geleb sub-zone is inhibited by more than 70,000 people including the number of nationals leading nomadic style of living, according to reports.
