The inhabitants of Antsefet village, Central region, said that they have become beneficiaries of potable water supply despite the fact and that the process of the facility’s implementation was difficult due to the area’s topography.

Asmara, 14 August 2013 – The inhabitants of Antsefet village, Central region, said that they have become beneficiaries of potable water supply despite the fact and that the process of the facility’s implementation was difficult due to the area’s topography.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Omar Jebib, Administrator of Dirfo area, pointed out that the putting in place of such facility attests to the Government’s commitment to rural development. He further disclosed that wells in Daerotai, Arbe-Rebue and Ad-Shuma have secured ample water reserve.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Bekit Idris, Ms. Gidei Gebreyesus, Mr. Saleh Fagir and Ms. Halima Idris expressed satisfaction with the facility, and expressed readiness to practice its judicious utilization.

Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Hizkias Wihbet, Administrator of Akria area, lauded the active role of the inhabitants in the implementation of the project.
