Inhabitants of Leayten Administrative area express satisfaction with social services

The inhabitants of Leayten Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with social service facilities, the impact of which in improving their livelihood has become significant.

Ginda, 20 August 2013 – The inhabitants of Leayten Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with social service facilities, the impact of which in improving their livelihood has become significant. They further pointed out that they have become beneficiaries of educational, health, potable water supply, electricity and other facilities, and asserted that the availability of such facilities attests to the Government’s commitment to rural development.

Mr. Mahmoud Abdalla, Administrator of the area, disclosed that a recently planted grain mill is rendering commendable service in the area.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Mohammed Osman, Mr. Ahferom Habtemichael and Ms. Hiwet Gebregiorgis noted the importance of community-based style of living in enhancing the impact of social service facilities. They also stated that merchandizing activities in the area are witnessing growth.
