Academic year 2013/2014 officially began in Warsai-Yikealo School

Reports indicated that the 2013/2014 Academic Year   has officially begun in Warsai-Yikealo School in Sawa.

Sawa, 26 August 2013 – Reports indicated that the 2013/2014 Academic Year   has officially begun in Warsai-Yikealo School in Sawa.

Speaking at the ceremony to this end, Mr. Kelit Girmai, Director of the school, stated that it has received around 21,000 12th graders from 83 High Schools nation-wide, and that better environment has been ensured for exchange of experience and spirit of competition among them. He further disclosed that 44.5% of the students comprise females, while 69% of them are Natural Science students, and the rest constituting Social Science stream.

Mr. Kelit further called on the students to effectively utilize time and avoid procrastination in their preparations for the Matriculation Examination.

The awaited extracurricular activities of the School include various contests pursuing sports, general knowledge and oratory, in addition to cultural activities and seminars.
