Asmara, 02 September 2013 – The 9th YPFDJ Conference in North America was conducted with patriotic zeal portraying the members’ strong bond with the Homeland vis-à-vis their readiness to back up national development endeavors.
The 3-day event involved a seminar by a government delegation which dealt with the objective situation in the country, besides exchange of experience among the participants and other activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Woldai Futur, Head of the National Investment Center, pointed out that the nation’s step forward in economy is a remarkable opportunity for nationals to become primary beneficiaries of national resources. He further shed on light regarding the role of Eritrean community members residing abroad in giving added impetus to the ongoing national investment ventures.
Dr. Woldai indicated that the major and gratifying resource of the nation constitutes its human capital although it bears a variety of natural resources. He also advised youths to focus on equipping themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Moreover, the participants of the conference voiced readiness to demonstrate commitment to the interest of the people and the nation through employing their knowledge and expertise potentials.
