Asmara, 03 September 2013 – A team of nationals residing in the UK and USA has extended a total of 70 E-reading tablets for educational purpose at College level.
The team’s vision is aimed at ensuring pervasive introduction of such digital equipment in schools nationwide, and that the current E-readers were obtained from groups of philanthropist Eritrean youths in Washington DC and London.
The coordinators of the project pointed out that the Government has registered gratifying accomplishments as regards equipping the youth with the necessary knowledge, thus giving rise to growing number of College graduates, and that their venture is aimed at reinforcement of digital learning in this connection.
The E-readers capable of making audio recording of more than 500 hours contain store capacity ranging from 16 to 32 GB, and are expected to facilitate new approach of student access to information. They would be distributed to the higher colleges shortly, according to reports.
