Call made for further integrated endeavors in implementation of development programs in Hagaz sub-zone

The Administration of Hagaz sub-zone has called for further integrated endeavors on the part of line ministries and Area administration as regards implementation of development programs.

Asmara, 03 September 2013 – The Administration of Hagaz sub-zone has called for further integrated endeavors on the part of line ministries and Area administration as regards implementation of development programs. It made the call at a meeting with heads of government bodies and PFDJ officials in the locality, during which it was stated that 5 health stations and 1 community hospital have been put in place, besides the deployment of 2 ambulances.

Ms. Amna Haj, Administrator of the sub-zone, disclosed that a total of 29 schools ranging from kindergartens to High Schools are rendering services, in addition to the availability of telecommunication, potable water supply, transport and other social service facilities. She further indicated that such facilities have made remarkable impact in improving the livelihood of the inhabitants.

The participants of the meeting voiced readiness to demonstrate utmost commitment towards facilitating the locality’s development pace.The sub-zonal Administrator on his part called on the inhabitants to practice prudent utilization of the available facilities, besides commending the active role of communities and the members of the People’s Army in the ongoing development ventures.
