Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare organizes training for 47 needy students in Central region

– A total of 47 needy students who have been attending a 10-month training course regarding tailoring which was organized by theMinistry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the Central region graduated yesterday.

Asmara, 04 September 2013 – A total of 47 needy students who have been attending a 10-month training course regarding tailoring which was organized by theMinistry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the Central region graduated yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Jim’a Mohammed-Nur , head of the Ministry’s community training center, pointed out that it has so far graduated around 3,000 students of this type with a view to improving their livelihood. She further called on the trainees to upgrade the skill knowhow they have acquired through additional practical exposure.

Among the beneficiaries, Saleh Mohammed, Tiegisti Asier and Nigisti Hadgu expressed satisfaction with the training, and said that they would focus on career development so as to fully support themselves financially.

The current beneficiaries comprise the 22 batch of trainees in the Center, according to reports.
