Gash-Barka: Call made for reinforcement of youth centers

Youth in Gash-Barka region have called for reinforcement of youth centers so as to further promote their production capacity on the basis of giving impetus to training and organization, as well as encouraging creative work.

Barentu, 05 September 2013 – Youth in Gash-Barka region have called for reinforcement of youth centers so as to further promote their production capacity on the basis of giving impetus to training and organization, as well as encouraging creative work.

Among the youths, Melake Measho, Abdu Yunus, Adhanet Nelson, Merhawit Woldetinsae, Hasseb Osman and Khalda Haj noted the need of constructing new youth centers vis-à-vis further equipping the available ones. They also pointed out that the fellow youths have been extending labor support to needy nationals in farming.

Bekit Adem from the NUEYS branch in the region indicated that the Union has created various opportunities for youths in collaboration with stakeholders, and called on the regional Administration to enhance commitment towards reinforcement of youth centers.
