The Administrator of Emni-Haili sub-zone, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, has called on the inhabitants of Emni-Haili sub-zone to enhance role as regards nurturing dynamic youths.
Dirko, 06 September 2013 – The Administrator of Emni-Haili sub-zone, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, has called on the inhabitants of Emni-Haili sub-zone to enhance role as regards nurturing dynamic youths. He made the call at a meeting during which it was stressed that education is the major factor for the civilization of one’s society, thus giving rise to bold parental role in the teaching-learning process.
The sub-zonal Administrator further disclosed that stepped-up efforts are being made to launch the school in Maedo village shortly, and called on communities to extend a helping hand in doing away with harmful customary practices such as childhood marriage.
In the same vein, Mr. Tekle Haile, head of the police station in the sub-zone, said that community role in general and that of parents in particular is a significant prerequisite for popularization of the related cultural values among the young generation.
From the participants, Mr. Solomon Habtemariam and Mr. Michael Jovani indicated that seminars of this type are vital as regards raising popular awareness regarding law, and asserted that they would enhance follow-up on students’ academic pursuit and ethics.
Moreover, Ms. Emuna Yakiem and Ms. Saba Semere said that reinforcement of the relations among parents, Area administrators and teachers is a key factor for the realization of the cherished goal.
