Eritrean community members in Berne Canton to patronize 30 families of martyrs

Eritrean community members in Berne Canton, Switzerland, said that they would patronize 30 families of martyrs for the next two years. They made the pledge at a meeting they conducted in connection with the 52nd anniversary of the launching of the armed struggle for independence.

Asmara, 13 September 2013 – Eritrean community members in Berne Canton, Switzerland, said that they would patronize 30 families of martyrs for the next two years. They made the pledge at a meeting they conducted in connection with the 52nd anniversary of the launching of the armed struggle for independence.

The community members further indicated that the event is an occasion when nationals should reiterate readiness to honor the trust of the fallen heroes, besides keeping intact the noble Eritrean culture of collaboration.

Meanwhile, nationals residing in Nuremberg, Germany, extended a total of 2,300 Euros in support of families of martyrs. The nationals also stated that they would step up efforts to this end.
