The Eritrean community members in the German cities of Ford Rein and Westphalia said that they would step up popular resolve against anti-Eritrea agendas.
Asmara, 23 September 2013 – The Eritrean community members in the German cities of Ford Rein and Westphalia said that they would step up popular resolve against anti-Eritrea agendas. They made the pledge at a joint meeting which was conducted last Saturday in the presence of a number of members of community resolve committees from other cities in that country.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mengisteab Araya, from among members of the committees, presented a paper pertaining to the historical background and prevalence of the Eritrean people’s resistance against external conspiracies, as well as the national development drive.
The paper sheds light on the culture of societal harmony in Eritrea, which virtue has been forced at as a threat and thus becoming a target by consecutive occupation forces. It also notes that such continued hostile acts ended up in fiasco thanks to the Eritrean people’s steadfastness and the keeping intact of national values.
Among the youth members of the community, Marta Kiflemariam and Yoel Kiflemariam presented papers focusing on the impact of psychological war on the youth and the role of youths in popular resistance and the nation-building process.
The participants of the meeting asserted that they would step up participation in State affairs.
