The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region has called for stepped-up community role as regards nurturing cultural values among orphaned children.

Ginda, 23 September 2013 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region has called for stepped-up community role as regards nurturing cultural values among orphaned children. It made the call at a meeting in Ginda town in which religious leaders, community elders and representatives, as well as heads of line ministries took part.

Mr. Kidane Yohanes, head of the branch office, noted the need of adhering to sound strategies of patronizing abandoned children within an interactive community environment, the implementation of which demands significant community participation.

Likewise, Mr. Rusom Hizbai, called on stakeholders to enhance role pertaining to support of such children, and thus ensuring the realization of the cherished goal.
