Significant development accomplishments registered in Northern Red Sea region on the basis of SWP: Report

The Education Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region indicated that significant development accomplishments have been registered in Nacfa, Afabet and Ginda sub-zones on the basis of the SWP. It made the remark at an assessment meeting in Ginda town, during which the participants expressed appreciation for the spirit of enthusiasm witnessed in the process.

Ginda, 25 September 2013 – The Education Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region indicated that significant development accomplishments have been registered in Nacfa, Afabet and Ginda sub-zones on the basis of the SWP. It made the remark at an assessment meeting in Ginda town, during which the participants expressed appreciation for the spirit of enthusiasm witnessed in the process.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Fisehatsion Tekie, head of the SWP in the region, disclosed that the tasks fulfilled to this end pertain to soil and water conservation, afforestation, renovation of dirt roads, environmental hygiene and others.

Mr. Reshid Mohammed Osman, head of the branch office, lauded the integrated work demonstrated among line ministries in the course of the program’s implementation.

Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, pointed out that the program provides groundwork for nurturing the culture of work, besides raising the input of youths in the national development endeavor. He also called for stepped-up societal role in this regard, especially on the part of parents, teachers and Area administrators.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding to several issues.
