The Tourism Ministry’s branch in the Central region has called for stepped-up efforts as regards proper harnessing of the tourism potentials in the country.
Asmara, 28 September 2013 – The Tourism Ministry’s branch in the Central region has called for stepped-up efforts as regards proper harnessing of the tourism potentials in the country.
Ms. Akberet Teshale, head of the branch office, indicated that the Ministry would enhance endeavors towards development of related natural resources and attractive sceneries in such a way that gives impetus to tourism-related activities. She further noted the value of the people’s hospitality and the art decos in Asmara as factors influencing tourist attention, and called on the inhabitants and interested nationals to extend a helping hand regarding preservation of antique buildings.
“Moreover, taxi drivers and other service attendants are due to reflect the noble cultural values to tourists, and citizens in general to extend a helping hand to national endeavors of giving impetus to the tourism services”, Ms. Akberet emphasized.
