Asmara, 30 September 2013 – The National Association of Medical Professionals has called on members to enhance role as regards promoting societal wellbeing on the basis of encouraging exchange of experience
Dr. Bereket Sibhatu, Chairman of the Association, disclosed that it conducts annual meeting during which various papers are presented focusing on ways and means of addressing health-bound challenges, causes and development of important diseases and new findings of curing, among others. He further indicated that the meeting creates favorable environment for exchange of experience, and encouraged the members to present research papers that are relevant to the theme of the 19th annual meeting of the Association due to be conducted next December.
Accordingly, the Association holds inter-associational relations of partnership at regional and international level, subsequently paving the groundwork for standardization of associational capacity and professional competence, in addition to its input in charting future programs.
Dr. Bereket stated that the number of the Association’s members is on the rise in line with the growing number of Medical Doctors who graduate from Orotta Medical School, and said that health professionals should step up teamwork so as to ensure the realization of the cherished goal.
The National Association of Medical Professionals was established in 1993 and currently has more than 250 members nationwide, according to reports.
