The residents of Assab are engaged in a popular environmental hygiene campaign with a view to promoting community health.

Assab, 10 October 2013 – The residents of Assab are engaged in a popular environmental hygiene campaign with a view to promoting community health.

Among the city residents, Mr. Osman Abdurahman, Ms Aisha Ali, Ms. Maha Yasin and Ms. Fatuma Hassan pointed out that community awareness pertaining to the importance of environmental hygiene in preventing communicable diseases has become prevalent, and said that they would sustain the community initiative. They also expressed satisfaction with taking part in the undertaking, and called on fellow residents to step-up prudent management of thrash materials.
